Sat Nav or Mobile Nav

The introduction of mobile maps to mobile phones is no longer considered a new innovation. In fact its pretty standard across all platforms, whether you use IOS, Andriod or Windows. You can pretty much expect a decent map experience.

The quality of these map apps has the sat nav industry quaking in its boots. You no longer need to spend upwards of £xxx so you can navigate around your country in confidence. The question in this article isn't whether the mobile maps on your phone are better than the sat nav equivalent  Its whether the mobile maps are good enough for you not to use a traditional sat nav.

Pros.
Whether you choose Apple maps, google maps and navigation or a paid app such as tom tom, you have a considerable choice of maps at your finger tips.
